Who we are

We are parents, guardians, teachers, staff and community members working together to make Holly Springs Elementary an even better place for our Wildcats. From supporting our teachers and students to creating family events, school traditions, fundraisers and opportunities to bring our community together, we are proud to support more than 875 Wildcats throughout the school year.

What our PTA is

We are parents, guardians, teachers, staff and community members who have come together to support Holly Springs Elementary. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit and a local unit of Georgia PTA and National PTA, with our own bylaws, our own bank account and an annual audit.

In practice, that means we raise funds for the things that make a school year special, we help bring events and traditions to life, and we look for every chance to support our teachers, our staff and all of our Wildcats.

How we work

The board proposes a budget at the start of the year and our members vote to approve it. Our bylaws call for three General PTA Meetings during the school year, where members hear how the year is going, review the finances and vote on the decisions that shape our PTA.

We hold three General PTA Meetings during the school year. Dates for 2026-27 will be posted here and shared with members as soon as they are confirmed.

General PTA Meetings are for our members. If you are a member you are welcome to join us — there is no need to RSVP, just come.

Working with our school

Holly Springs Elementary School STEM Academy is led by Ms. Kerri Schmitt, and we are grateful for the partnership we share with her and with our school administration. The PTA, the administration, our teachers and staff, and our families all want the same thing for our Wildcats — and the best ideas come from working on them together.
